Dr. Pyiet Phyo Kyaw (Cultural and Heritage)

       Dr. Pyiet Phyo Kyaw is well experienced with the backgrounds of archaeological survey and cultural resource management. He experienced in cultural heritage preservation teaching and research in University of Yangon. He is one of the founding members of Myanmar Archaeology Association and he supports many ideas and theoretical advises to this association MAA. He has experiences in academic publications since 2007 in Journal of Myanmar Arts and Science, SEAMEO CHAT, Asia Research Centre, Universities Research Journal, Yangon University Research Journal, International Burma Studies conference 2014, Water of Southeast Asia Conference TRaNS: Trans -Regional and -National Studies of Southeast Asia, Sogang University, Seoul and International Ceramic Symposium 2014. And He is also a team leader of Sand Sculpture Team Myanmar since 2006 to 2010.

       He has finished his Ph D dissertation in 2012 and now holding the Ph D degree of University of Yangon. His specialty is of Interpretative Archaeology and Visual Cultural Studies; Art History and Iconography. He is one of the members of World Cultural Heritage Management Conference for Bagan. He is also a joint secretary of University Teachers’ Association for 2014-2015 academic years
